Alumni

We think about you all the time.

Yesterday you were students. Today you are architects. At first glance you are all so very different from each other, but you share one, common identity – you are all Panthers.

The College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) is a College with a vision: to be at the forefront of teaching, research, and service in art, design, performance, and communication. It is comprised of seven departments: architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture, art + art history, communication arts, music, and theatre.

After just seven years, the College now boasts a number of impressive accomplishments. Our Miami Beach Urban Studios, inaugurated in 2011 and located on vibrant Lincoln Road, features a magnificent new gallery and cutting-edge design, performance, and classroom spaces. There have been hundreds of events at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center, which showcase the talent of our Theatre and Music students, alumni, and faculty. Exhibitions highlighting the work of our BFA and MFA students have been held in locations across South Florida.

CARTA boasts a 6,000+ strong alumni network. From contemporary jewelry designers overseas to award-winning architects and television stars at home, alumni from the College have gone on to successful careers in art, music, design, and performance. Amongst numerous accomplishments, CARTA graduates have been nominated for Latin Grammys, appeared on Broadway, and worked in Hollywood.
