Nela Arias- Misson: Unearthly Enchantments

Lisl Steiner: Pristine Intuition

Nela Arias-Misson’s body of work settled, quietly but steadily, as a cross-cultural dialogue within the global history of contemporary abstraction. As the first Latin American female artist to become part of one of the most significant American art movements – Abstract Expressionism.

Lisl Steiner is one of the most unusual personalities in the history of photo journalism. Her images are touching, beautiful, and profound. Transgressing orthodox ways of looking and through her cosmic vision of life, she subverts hegemonic visual models.

Curated by Jorge Luis Gutierrez
