101 Workshop:
Career Secrets from a Designer Turned
Yacht Media and Travel Influencer

Andrea Tagliaferro earned her undergraduate degree in architecture from the University LUZ in Venezuela. She took one year to work and then moved to the U.S.A. to pursue her master’s degree in interior design at Florida International University.  Upon graduation, she began working as a designer at a paint and wallpaper store and then transitioned into sales, designing Italian kitchens.  Her professional network opened the door to high-end residential design and eventually gave her access to a career as an interior designer of yachts.  Life experience made her realize that life was too short to waste her weekends doing the same thing, propelling her to see as much of the world as she could.  Over the next 4 years, she designed yacht interiors, while at the same time traveling every chance she got.

Her friends wanted to know more of her adventures, and that is how she got into media and travel blogging. After only one year of moonlighting as a blogger, she quit her design job to immerse herself in the world of social media and utilize her unique knowledge of yacht design to provide yachting companies with social media services.

Andrea is now a travel blogger, influencer, and social media guru for the yachting industry.   She travels the world while managing her social media company, Taglia inc, which caters exclusively to the yachting industry, and she is currently nominated as best travel blogger of the year.
