Kopenhaver Center Inauguration

On May 30, 2013, the Center officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus.

Dean Emeritus and Professor Dr. Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver were in attendance, along with FIU’s President, Dr. Mark B. Rosenberg, among others.

The event was marked with a special presentation by guest speaker, Dr. Nancy L. Green, chair of the Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication.
