This unique program is designed to offer School of Communication and Journalism students and alumni the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with individuals who have attained positions of leadership in the field of communication.

Seminars and webinars are offered throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.   Participants will gain insight  into the qualities of leadership in an infinite variety of situations and will learn more about the profession which they are pursing.   This program is FREE.

Eligibility: Open to all School of Communication and Journalism students.

Registration:  Students and alumni must sign up by emailing  by no later than October 6, 2016.

Requirements:    Participants will attend a total of three webinars or seminars sponsored by the Kopenhaver Center during the Fall and Spring terms.  Participants should come prepared to engage in meaningful dialogue and prepare targeted questions for the speaker that will assist the participant in their professional development.

At the end of the program, participants will be required to attend a round table discussion as a group to discuss the information and insights learned from the speakers.   At that time, they will be presented with their certifications for the program.  Students will be required to write a two-page paper to be submitted at the completion of the program detailing a summary of information and insights learned from the speakers.
