General Financial Aid for Undergraduate and Graduate
Graduate Assistantships are also offered in the Department of Landscape Architecture. These are one- or two-semester opportunities that provide students who are officially graduate students (having transitioned from undergraduate or having entered the program with graduate standing) with up to 15 credits of tuition paid and a $3,750 stipend per semester. Students with GA-ships work in the labs and assist faculty members with courses and their research. Each spring semester, all eligible graduate students who are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity are invited to provide preferences for the graduate assistantships of their choice. Faculty members then provide input on who they would prefer to have in these positions, and the Department Chair makes the final decision with the Dean of the College of Communication, Architecture + the Arts.
