Entering freshmen that have taken high school theory and transfer students who have previously taken college-level theory can try one of the upper-level tests to place out of one or more courses from the theory and sight-singing sequences. The theory placement tests may be taken either on one of our audition days or on the Thursday before the first week of classes in both Fall and Spring. For further information regarding theory placement tests, please visit the Theory Information webpage.
