The South Florida Chapter of the American Liszt Society and FIU Schoool of Music present a piano recital featuring FIU pianist Dr. José López with a program that highlights Cuban composers in the era of Franz Liszt.

The recital features music by Ignacio Cervantes and rarely heard works from Gaspar Villate, a composer mostly associated with opera. Also included are works composed by another Romantic figure, Jose Comellas, as well as  Nicolás Ruíz Espadero and José Manuel “Lico” Jiménez.
