Soprano, Vindhya Khare, has a voice described as “rich, agile…[and] radiant.” (Miami Herald). She is sought after as a soloist with engagements that include the Miami Bach Society Collegium, Choral Society of the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Recitalist on the FIU Faculty Artist Series, and performances with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba in Havana.

Dr. Khare received her D.M.A. Degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music with doctoral research in the field of sex hormones and the female singing voice. She has presented her research at the International Congress of Voice Teachers in Stockholm, Carnegie-Mellon University, the American Guild of Organists (Miami), Palm Beach Atlantic University, and the Savannah Voice Festival, with upcoming invitations at various universities. She also holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Florida International University, as well as an undergraduate degree in piano performance from California State University, Northridge.

As an arts administrator, Dr. Khare is the Coordinator of Vocal Studies at Florida International University, Miami as well as an instructor of voice. She has served as Artistic Director of the University Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale and is past President of the Paul L. Rodensky Foundation for the Arts. As an accomplished pianist and voice coach, Dr. Khare served as Principal Pianist/Voice Coach and Associate Chorus Master at Palm Beach Opera under the baton of the late Maestro Anton Guadagno. She is also on the music staff of Temple Sinai of the Palm Beaches and is a soprano soloist for Plymouth Congregational Church in Miami.
