The Greenhouse2018-08-22T15:17:15+00:00

FIU Theatre’s The Greenhouse is a summer new play development series. Three South Florida playwrights are selected for one week intensive residencies to workshop and revise a draft of a full length play.

Each playwright teams up with a leading South Florida director and dramaturg, along with a cast of talented actors. The team works on developing the script through readings and revisions, culminating with a free public reading at the end of the week.

Submissions for the 2019 Greenhouse are currently closed. Submission guidelines will be released in January. For more information, contact Michael Yawney at myawney@fiu.edu
