The School of Music at Florida International University in Miami, Florida is an extraordinary place in an extraordinary city where students and faculty participate in a dynamic culture of music. The FIU Art + Art History Department provides a sanctuary for the development of new visions, ideas, and techniques. Studio art majors will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of disciplines acquiring basic and advanced skills while exploring a wide range of new possibilities. Art Education majors go through a rigorous program of study which includes studio practice, theoretical and pedagogical training.

FIU Theatre is uniquely situated in a major global city distinguished by cultural diversity and a vibrant arts scene. Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), the department’s primary purpose is to immerse students in the practical work of theatre production while familiarizing them with world theatre history, criticism, literature, theory, and analysis.
