Architectural Design Intern – 2021 Summer Internship

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC (ICE) is seeking summer interns who are pursuing a degree in Architecture for our Tampa, FL office. Our ideal candidate would be a rising senior who is scheduled to graduate in December 2021 or May 2022. Interns must be highly motivated and hard-working individuals with a desire learn and grow professionally. Internships with ICE allow you to continue your education with a real-world experience that will enhance your future academic experiences. We are currently accepting applications for an Architectural Design Intern to join our team for the 2021 ICE Internship Program.
Position Summary:
The intern will be in the office daily assisting with all aspects of architectural design, from presentations for clients to working with the construction team. The intern may also be conducting research on sites, such as zoning laws and rules that apply for state projects.

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred
- Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes
- Demonstrated research skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to work well individually and in a team setting
- Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients
- Above average computer literacy & keyboard skills
- Ability to solve problems and think outside of the box
- Organizational skills and above average math aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- An ability to think on your feet and be a team player
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be detail-oriented, yet keep a strategic focus to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated interest and ambition to learn and work in a competitive, fast-paced industry
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Applicants must be currently pursuing a degree in Architecture
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
