3D Modeler and Graphic Designer

Fourstar Group is seeking a talented, collaborative, and versatile Designer with strong illustration, graphic and 3D skills. Major focus will be but not limited to Illustration of concepts and 3D modeling/rendering used for an extensive assortment of products and categories. This includes strong graphic layout and typography skills, for product development.

·      Ability to create icons, phrases, and patterns based on direction from PD and Creative Directors.

·      Able to develop production-ready product, packaging layouts and concept work while managing multiple project deadlines.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams which include Marketing, Overseas operations and sales leads and Product Development, to ensure successful development of designs are met.

·      3D Design

·      Conceptualize characters, vehicles, architectural structures and many other elements to later be created in 3D programs.

·      Fully model and render said elements in various 3D programs for presentation and 3D printing.

·      Layout sizing, assembly and color sheets per product.

·      Qualifications:

·      3-5 years professional experience in Retail/Consumer Graphic and 3D design preferred.

·      Skilled in graphic design, illustration, basic packaging layout and 3d design for products.

·      Proven success at handling multiple projects, brand implementation, marketing strategies, costs, schedules and resources.

·      Capability of creating 3d and 2d files for production in China.

·      Understanding of human anatomy and architectural structures.

·      Able to part-out products that are 3d modeled for use in prototyping.

·      Utilize internal resources and time management skills to independently manage projects to meet deadlines.

·      Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

·      Proficient in Adobe, Illustrator & Photoshop as well as Zbrush and KeyShot, skills are a must. Knowledge in other 3d programs such as Maya, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and 3DS Max are welcome.

·      Solid design sensibility with keen eye for typography & adherence to style guides.

·      Excellent organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.
