College Internship Program
A fast-growing, dynamic Los Angeles-based Public Relations firm is seeking interns to assist agency account teams. The firm specializes in communications strategies across lifestyle, interior design, architecture, and furnishings sectors.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The College Internship program offers students the opportunity to learn practical skills that will enable them to succeed as a professional in the Public Relations field. Interns will each be assigned to an account team where they will be fully integrated into the company culture, gaining exposure to a variety of responsibilities and valuable industry knowledge.
Hello PR Group is currently seeking energetic personalities available to work a flexible schedule for the duration of the Spring/Summer semesters. This program only offers college credit and is open to all levels of college students.
Some of the responsibilities interns will have the opportunity to assist with include:
- Supporting media monitoring, press clipping, and reporting of media placements and features.
- Organization and maintenance of shared company contacts database.
- Interfacing with publications and editors to secure product placements; submit credit and image requests.
- Development of various ad hoc media lists.
- Preparation of images and text for press presentations.
- Researching vendors and venues as needed for special client events.
- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize requests from multiple team members.
- Must be comfortable talking on the phone.
- Must be flexible, responsible, and reliable.
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a PR industry-related educational program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be available between Monday – Friday anytime from 9AM – 5PM, a minimum of 10 hours per week.
