Position Summary
If crafting core brand design strategy and applying it to various digital and traditional mediums makes you downright giddy, we need to talk! Our Brand Team is driven to find the next big thought leader as our Brand Designer .
Working with a team of thinkers and doers, our Brand Designer must bring a mix of great problem-solving skills, design expertise, and business understanding to our high-energy environment of creative excellence. We’re looking for an experienced designer who can use visual elements to compel business owners to look at our brands and inspire them to explore our services. The ideal candidate will be an adaptive designer with the ability to use graphic design to bring powerful brand messaging to life and position our companies as trusted advisors to all types of audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of brand design from goal identification and concepting solutions through project completion and analysis
- Work closely with VP of Brand Strategy and Brand Writer to solve marketing challenges through smart, well-designed materials and campaigns that establish brand excellence
- Design effective educational and sales materials that support our brand and mission across all marketing mediums
- Collaborate with the Brand messaging team in the creation and production of all website, digital and print collateral
- Build website experiences that clearly align with Lead Gen funnel strategies and objectives
- Participate in ongoing brand communication strategies for multiple Division Partner projects
- Collaborate with VP of Brand Strategy and Brand Writer in developing brand campaigns that translate marketing objectives into clear and motivating creative strategies for Vensure and our always-growing list of Division Partners
- Analyze market trends, consumer needs and the competitive landscape
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Brand team, utilizing strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable solutions that achieve brand goals and address all marketing challenges
- Plan, explore and create effective design styles and guidelines in support of marketing objectives
- Work with the Digital Marketing team to ensure conformity with brand design standards as well as evaluating how those brand design solutions can best assist their efforts to build an effective top-of-funnel awareness plan for engaging with new prospects
- Work with the Communications team to ensure brand design standards are consistent across all communication channels
- Participate in monthly Brand review of Division Partner needs, assets, campaigns, and overall success
- Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts to the VP of Brand Strategy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong and versatile design skills focused on the ability to produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling brand experiences and exposure for multiple audiences
- An understanding of website organization, architecture, and UI/UX
- The ability to regularly work with and coach other designers
- Deep-seated creative vision with a general understanding of business objectives
Education & Experience
- 6-8 years of related experience within an agency or corporate setting, with a minimum of 2 specifically in an advertising/marketing agency
- Experience collaborating and working with a creative team on everything from complex campaigns to single projects
- Demonstrable experience creating integrated design across all marketing channels (digital, social media, and web) while also understanding offline and print
- Proven experience in creating customized website design solutions that connect with varied audience types
