Your Role

As a Gensler Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to build the foundation of your design career by joining a team that turns ordinary spaces into works of art and enhances the user experience. What You Will Do

  • Participate in multiple types of project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production. This is a full time, 10 week program running from June 7 – August 12, 2022.
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, technologists, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives 
  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
  • Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts

Your Qualifications

  • Have successfully completed a minimum of 3 years in a qualified interior or architectural program at an accredited university
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as CAD, Revit, Octane, 3dViz, 3d Studio MAX, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and/or SketchUp
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements a plus
  • LEED accreditation a plus
