Little River // Miami is seeking a Design Intern for an exciting development project with a diverse roster of food and beverage, retail and creative office tenants. Little River is a historic neighborhood where Miami’s best creative entrepreneurs are calling home, and where locals are celebrated and given a platform to re-focus the city on homegrown talent.
Perfect for students currently pursuing an undergraduate, the Design Intern will be responsible for a range of digital media while working alongside the Brand Manager and in collaboration with an external creative team.
Role/Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating original content, managing editorial calendar, and posting via planning tool Planoly for Instagram. Analyze social media data and create reports
• Design and create clear, on-brand, engaging visual communications for both print and
digital applications
• Catalog photography and historical ephemera
• Adhere to brand standards
• Assist with PR and programming initiatives
• Seek out third party vendors for special projects and collaborations
• Use Monday.com to manage projects and meet deadlines
• Maintain clean file structure and organization on our digital assets management system
Skills:
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign and
basic knowledge of graphic design fundamentals.
• Interest in photography and video, Miami history, creating original content, copywriting,
and storytelling.
• Self-starter, positive attitude, culturally attuned, empathic, pragmatic, love for all things design – from architecture to flatware.
Time Commitment: This internship requires a part-time commitment of ~20 hours per week. Two days in office and 1 day remote. We will work together to determine a schedule that works best for you. This internship is a 10-week period (part-time).
