We are hiring! Atkins seeks an Architectural Designer to join our team in Miami, Florida. Under supervision, applies technical professional proficiency to the solution of architectural problems and the coordination of related project activities. The position also supports BD and presentation efforts in securing and advancing new projects.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Perform site and field work including site investigations, existing facility inventory and field measured documentation.
  • Develop designs and sketches into Revit-based construction documents.
  • Complete assignments efficiently and in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
  • Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.
  • Working knowledge of building codes.
  • Understanding of building materials and construction methods.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
  • Performs such other duties as the Supervisor determine necessary to support the Architecture Practice.

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
  • The position requires expertise of BIM/Revit and Autocad. Additionally, working knowledge of Sketchup and Lumion is preferred.
  • Candidate must be in process of taking and passing the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).
  • LEED AP is a plus.
