LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS-ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS

We are seeking fun, creative individuals to join the Upland

Design team. We are hiring at all experience levels. Daily

activities may include assisting with site analysis, tree

surveys, park master plans, public meetings, construction

documents, permit applications, grant writing, reports and

construction administration. Project work includes assisting

project team to develop engaging designs by working with

clients and allied professionals. A successful applicant will

have a passion for the profession, be highly organized,

creative and able to work on multiple projects of various

sizes simultaneously.

Candidates can work in our Chicago or Plainfield offices.

The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:

•An interest in and/or experience with public park design

and public landscape design

•Experience in conceptual design through construction

observation

•Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture

•AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite

•Midwest plant knowledge

•An interest in how things are constructed

•Valid driver’s license and means to attend meetings/sites.
