Our Co-Ops/Interns receive top-notch applicable training in their focused area of study and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment that will challenge and grow them every step of the way! We are seeking a Fall 2023 Urban Infill Co-Op at this time.

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Have the ability to work across a range of scales and disciplines as is part of a typical development process.

These skills will be used to:

  • Provide support to the Urban Collection (townhome and small lot single family detached homes) land development and home building efforts.
  • Undertake research to support the growth of the Urban Collection within Fischer Homes.
  • Create and calibrate tools and templates to support real estate development within the Urban Collection.
  • Complete site analysis for Urban Infill sites, including but not limited to: researching, compiling, and analyzing site background information (market, zoning, environmental, topographic), completing site sketches, and completing development proforma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field. Dual degree candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, and basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or GIS is a plus
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Site design experience.
  • Must be a self-starter.
