Our Restoration & Renewal practice includes a multidisciplinary team of architects and structural engineers who work on projects ranging from small investigations to complete building renovations. We provide consulting services to property managers, building owners, and architects for a wide range of engineering and architectural issues, including historic structures and contemporary buildings.
The Role
The ideal candidate will act as a team member on various building envelope projects, participating in field forensic investigations, writing reports, developing drawings and specifications, and providing technical consultation (such as envelope detailing)
Responsibilities:
- On-site inspection/investigation including surveying and documenting observations, photographing and sketching
- Develop technical and investigative reports to support forensic findings and prepare materials related to presentations
- Preparing design drawings and specifications for repairs and renovation work.
- Participate in construction phase services, which may include performing observation at heights.
Requirements
- Professional Degree (Master’s preferred) in architecture, architectural engineering, or related
- Up to five years of experience, with existing buildings preferred
- Field experience with diverse building types preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
