TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Revit Production Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
The Production Technician is an integral member of the project team, responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, collaborating with Architects, Engineers, PMs and Coordinators, with direction from the Project Managers to produce successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities can include and are not limited to:
- Interpret construction documents in order to create detailed 3-D models which can be used to build and maintain a building
- Develop detailed designs for various buildings, specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures and draw-in minute details of structures and components
- Layout and draw schematic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and structures
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
- Position instructions, notes and comments onto drawings
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies and resolve design problems
- Connect with internal and external customers to assess needs and provide deliverables that are accurate and precise
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure quality and schedule are maintained
- Create reports and downloads to assist other team members
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 or 4 year degree in Architectural Technology, BIM Drafting and Design or equivalent education
- Previous experience in architectural design and production preferred
- Able to interpret and understand construction drawings
- Ability to communicate requirements
- High proficiency operating in Revit/BIM/Digital Twin software required
- Ability to think critically to solve problems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple functional groups to coordinate the flow of information
- Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and business software
