The responsibilities of the Virtual Design & Construction Co-op will vary from project to project but generally would include some or all of the following:
What You Will Do:
- Work in some or all of the following platforms:
- SketchUp
- Revit
- Lumion
- Tekla
- Navisworks
- Recap
- Synchro Pro
- ArchiCAD
- Microstation
- Rhino
- 3DS Max
- Adobe CS
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Products (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Working with project teams, business development, estimating, safety, and building systems group departments to develop:
- Site and building layouts
- 3D site logistics plans
- Building models and 3D mock-ups
- 3D prints
- Safe plans of work
- 4D schedules
- Laser scan/point cloud integration
- Augmented/ Virtual Reality models and visualizations
- Document control
- Quality control
- Research and Development
What You Will Bring:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural related program with a focus on construction processes/industry/delivery methods/building information modeling/virtual design and construction
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must have experience with 3D modeling software.
