Professor Sarmiento leads SRTO Architects, a Miami-based architecture and innovation studio working on projects locally and internationally. Before founding SRTO, he was Senior Associate at Perkins Eastman, one of the largest firms in New York City. He has worked on a broad range of projects in New York, Florida, and around the world. Professor Sarmiento holds the Master of Architecture from the Architecture Association in London, where he was awarded a graduate bursary. He earned the professional Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami.
