Olga Kusche-Iglesias
Adjunct Professor
A strong believer of Massimo Vignelli’s principle “if you can design one thing, you can design everything” Olga Kusche-Iglesias’ design experience ranges in scale from the spatial and architectural to the small-scale object. Olga graduated from FIU with a Masters in Architecture and a Graduate Certificate in Architectural History, Theory and Criticism, and holds a LEED Green Associate certification. She has worked for several boutique architectural firms based both in Miami and abroad and has collaborated on projects that span a range of typologies including power service centers, yacht interiors, hospitality projects, and residential renovations. As an adjunct professor, Olga teaches first year undergraduate design studios and third year graduate design studios. Her personal work reflects her passion for graphic design, cycling and product design. She currently works independently on architecture and art projects as she pursues her architectural license in the state of Florida. Her focus is on the importance of drawing, documentation, and the telling of local narratives, and she is a proponent of car-less forms of transportation.
