Claudio Salazar, AIA is the founder and principal architect at RooTSDNA.

Claudio obtained his Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Florida and his Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College where he focused his thesis work on recursive geometry and customization for urban design interventions.

Since 2000, Claudio has been the designer, project manager and master planner for numerous residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in the United States, Europe, Latin American, Asia and the Middle East. Motivated by a rigorous reexamination of architectural performance, function and form, Claudio has led his RooTSDNA team in the development of entries for architectural contests, some of which have been awarded first prize. Claudio is currently an adjunct faculty at the School of Architecture at Florida International University where he teaches Graduate Design courses.
