Launch That, a digital marketing company, is looking for a experienced and passionate Financial Content Writer (mid-level) to join our Content team!

This is a remote position for Florida residents who would be working remotely while in the state of Florida – specifically within 1 hour of downtown Orlando area. Due to the pandemic, many of our employees are currently working remotely. Once we get to a new normal (or post-pandemic) we will likely resume with most of our employees working onsite. This role would be expected to commute and work onsite (likely somewhere between 3-4 days per week or for specific meetings/company events) once we get to that phase of this pandemic.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Writing comprehensive webpages and news stories on financial topics for multiple websites
  • Conducting in-depth research and interviewing experts
  • Working closely with SEOs and Designers to produce the best content on the web!

  • Advanced financial writer who can produce accurate, clean, clear, comprehensive content at volume.
  • Quick learner who is eager and open to adapting to our approach to content
  • Proficient researcher on complex topics who is able to identify and connect with reputable sources and synthesize information

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 3-4 consecutive years of experience in a professional writing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Journalism, English, Advertising, Marketing or related field a plus
  • Portfolio of published articles on financial topics
  • Advanced understanding of technical aspects of writing content for the web and an ability to learn more about them
  • Advanced understanding of internet research and SEO
  • Ability to self-edit, apply editorial feedback, and find creative ways to improve on that direction – initiative
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Expert time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and critical thinking skills
  • Expert ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Advanced working knowledge of AP style
  • Experience working in a CMS such as WordPress
  • Intermediate familiarity working with G-Suite applications, including Google Docs and Google Sheets
