A summer at camp is more than just fun in the sun. Summer camp experiences are proven to help young people become more confident and independent while developing important skills that will help them be successful in school and in life. Many Crossroads campers experience significant transformations over the course of one session and you will see the proof of our effort in their success. Even more, many Crossroads staff and campers return year after year, allowing you to see how your impact multiples as you both grow and evolve together.
If you are interested in a career in social services, youth development, education or the non-profit sector in general, a Crossroads summer will provide hands on experience while working with young people in need and colleagues from around the world. The fast past camp environment allows you to think on your feet, be creative and lead. Counselors routinely report ending the summer with a deeper understanding of youth development, leadership and management
