J.M. Field Marketing is seeking a full-time talented graphic artist who possesses the ability to develop concepts and design media files for a variety of projects. Your creativity will be put to use when you design brochures, postcards, trade show graphics, point-of-purchase displays, logos, product packaging and other collateral. The Graphic Artist should be adept at communicating with professionals including suppliers, vendors and business managers regarding artwork. The successful candidate should be prepared to assist other designers in the creation of materials and signs for client needs. This position reports directly to the Creative Director.
THIS IS NOT A FREELANCE JOB AND WILL REQUIRE WORKING IN OUR OFFICES.
Requirements Skills/Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat pro as well as basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
The ability to take direction, while also being confident in creatively developing solutions to projects when needed
Detail and deadline oriented, with strong project management skills
Flexible, with the ability to multi-task on multiple projects
Efficient when working individually as well as in a team and possesses good communication skills
Ability to write marketing content (headlines, subheads, CTAs, etc.)
Previous experience with and knowledge of the print and production process is a plus
Basic understanding of marketing, communications and advertising concepts is also a plus
