We are seeking a Guest Experience Specialist to become a part of our team! As a Guest Experience Specialist, your job is the most important at Kids Hideout as you will be the first and last face the families will see from check-in to check-out. You will be representing everything the company is, a friendly, respectful, and positive place.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and implementation of our Early Development, and other classes programs to improve sensory and motor skills
  • Providing excellent customer service to our clients from check-in to check out.
  • Educating all our customers about our different party packages & play options.
  • Giving a quick tour of our facility to familiarize our customers with our policies and procedures and, best of all, highlighting our amenities including Parents’ Hideout, Babies’ Hideout, our Munchy Corner, and The Toy Boutique.
  • Providing information and answering questions regarding all our party packages, upcoming events, and our classes.
  • Checking-out customer’s purchases using point-of-sale system: Clover.
  • Monitoring and engaging with children utilizing our play area.
  • Keeping the play area and facility clean and tidy, including deep cleaning (disinfecting and sanitizing) between play sessions and parties, also before opening and closing.
  • Learning opening and closing procedures including coffee brewing, retail and inventory check, etc.
  • Helping guide and facilitate activities amongst children inside the play area.
  • Assist as a co-host at scheduled parties and events on occasional weekends or as-needed basis.
  • Confirm phone and online reservations.
  • Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Ability and passion to work with children
  • Previous experience in customer service, schools, front desk service, events organization, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with guests
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience with Public relations, events management and organization valued
