SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing support to the Sales department. Will evaluate the booking, deposit, and cancellation policies of other travel companies and luxury consumer products and compare them to Tauck’s current policies. Will research competitors use of Travel Advisor’s, and compare them to Tauck’s. Will create recommendations and best practices from results.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong proficiency with MS Excel & Word

• Great communication skills

• Comfortable speaking on the phone and phone skills

PREFERRED SKILLS & INTERESTS:

• Interest in travel and the travel industry

• Quick learner with the ability to multitask

• Practice good follow-through on tasks / assignments

• Ability to learn database applications to complete various projects

• Flexible with assigned tasks and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment
