What you’ll do:

Report to the Director of U.S. Payroll and advance your career at a company where people and innovation are at the core of everything we do. As Payroll Coordinator you will help process payroll for 2,800+ employees in more than a dozen EF locations throughout the US. Core opportunities and responsibilities include processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, garnishments, deductions, and other daily payroll tasks as necessary. This role is a great entry into the world of Payroll.

The Details

  • Performs payroll functions for our US offices and schools
  • Processes the tracking and reconciliation of employee deductions and earnings including, but not limited to, deductions for employee benefits, retirement contributions, federal state and local taxes, and earnings for base salaries, bonuses, and other earnings
  • Ensures accurate reporting to taxing authorities of taxable wages, including both cash and non-cash items such as taxable use of company property, fringe benefits, gifts and other reimbursements that may be taxable
  • Assists employees and others as needed with payroll-related issues
  • Assists with various internal and external financial and tax audits including but not limited to workers’ compensation, department of labor and other audits as needed
  • Ensures that payroll practices are compliant with state and federal employment laws
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.)
