Susan Feliciano 

Adjunct Faculty | Art Education
An artist, educator, and poet, Susan Feliciano’s work is presented in important exhibitions nationally and internationally, most recently at the Coral Gables Museum, Arthill Gallery in London, and the Miami-Dade County Public Library System. Her paintings and photography have appeared in distinguished venues throughout South Florida, including Girl’s Club Fort Lauderdale, Sublime Gallery, and Museum of Contemporary Art. Her artwork was part of notable exhibitions such as 9Topics TRIAD, 100+ degrees in the Shade, and PulseMiami. Her paintings are featured in influential publications including [NAME] publications and Florida Design Magazine. Her work is in prominent art collections including Bank of America, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean International, Regent Seven Seas, and Oceania Cruises. Feliciano participated in prestigious artist residencies including ProjectArt Miami and Oolite Arts. She received noteworthy grants in art education, most recently the Ellie Teacher Travel Grant, the Ideas with IMPACT Disseminator Grant, and Fulbright Memorial Fund Japan. Feliciano won the coveted Friend of Art Education Award from both the Dade Art Educators Association (DAEA) and the Florida Art Education Association (FAEA). A native of New York, Ms. Feliciano attended Florida International University where she received a BA (1992), BFA (2001) and MS (2005). Ms. Feliciano is an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University’s Art and Art History program and the Director of Inkimaru Studio.
