NYC CONCERT PREMIERE: IMPULSU / MOMENTUM
FIU COMPOSER ORLANDO JACINTO GARCIA
FIU Distinguished University Professor of Music Orlando Garca (above L) congratulates Eduardo Leandro, conductor of Ensemble PI at the premier on Tuesday, March 2, 2022 of impulsu / momentum, a new work by Garcia that was part of a concert dedicated to systemic poverty and over-criminalization and performed at The Center at West Park in New York City.

INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION: CREOLE ARCHIVE PROJECT–KINGDOM OF LA GONÂVE BY FIU FACULTY MEMBER DR. JACEK KOLASINSKI
Opened on March 3, 2022 in the Art Gallery at the University of Rzeszów, Poland, this new exhibition by Jacek Kolasinki, Founding Director of the Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator, explores the profound connections between Eastern Europe (Poland in particular) and the global South, especially Haiti.
