Where is your hometown? Miami, Florida

When did you start work at FIU? 2013

What is the favorite part of your job? The continued opportunity for professional development and an advanced education.

What is something you learned working with at Interior Architecture Department? I’ve learned that students are capable of extraordinary accomplishments at a very early age. We
regularly work with 18-year olds who are completing their Masters Degrees in our programs.

If you would like to go back to school in and do a major, what would you choose? I am currently in school working on my Ed.D in Adult Education and Human Resource Development.
Although if there wasn’t a need for success…I would probably get a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this? I’ve taught 7 th grade Technology and loved it! Although, I’d probably prefer Health Sciences.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? A President. Doesn’t matter which one…I just want to know if Aliens exist…

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why? Hanoi, Vietman. The people were extremely nice, the location was amazing and everything was cheap. I would love to work there for a couple of years.

Favorite eating spot in Miami? The Citadel Food Court

Do you have any advice to new students coming into Interior Architecture or CARTA ? Enjoy your college experience. Study Study Study…but also LIVE A LITTLE. Don’t burn out before your Graduate Studies begin in year 3!
