The Department of Communication has developed a Quality Assurance Protocol for teaching. It is designed as a support for setting up and/or completing an integrated quality assurance system and for successfully passing an accreditation process. It is intended as a source of information for anyone involved with quality assurance.
Our processes, which include course and module approval, student feedback, examiners, annual review of courses and periodic review, are designed to interconnect to create an approach which is rigorous and effective.
At Faculty/School/program level the quality of learning and teaching may be monitored using:
- Peer Evaluation
- Classroom visits
- Student evaluations
- Answering emails within 24-48 hours
- Monitoring activity on blackboard
