Dr. Desrayaud’s research centers on issues of conflict and gender in both interpersonal and organizational contexts. She has published about workplace bullying (Desrayaud, Dickson & Webb, 2018), women's online communities (Murray & Desrayaud, 2021), machismo and caballerismo's effects on interpersonal conflicts (Desrayaud, Martin & Olano-Vazquez, forthcoming) and perceived and ideal conflict cultures in universities (Desrayaud, 2022). She is a past chair of the Peace and Conflict Communication Division of the National Communication Association, and has presented at NCA for the last 5 years. Dr. D regularly teaches Gender and Communication (SPC 3711), Organizational Communication (COM 3120), and Conflict Management (COM 4462).
