Next Steps Mentoring Mentee Flyer

CARTA X BPN- Next Step Mentorship Program Fall 2022 Cohort

Are you a CARTA student looking for guidance on the next steps? Mentorship may be the missing piece needed to give you clarity, help you set goals, and make the connections needed to finish school with a plan, and obtain your dream job.

The Next Steps Mentoring program is an exciting opportunity through Black Professionals Network (BPN) that will link college students as early as their freshmen year with an experienced professional and/or entrepreneur to give them the tools they need to thrive now and in the future. The program is for those who identify as Black and are ready to level up and become the best version of themselves.

Next Steps not only includes compatible mentors but professional development, a live course, BPN membership, and event experiences with like-minded peers.

Limited slots available, apply by September 2nd to confirm your space.

Here is a video with a little more information:

If you have questions about this opportunity, feel free to ask me or contact Juliette Saint Louis at

Meet and Greet the Divine Nine

Online Event (Zoom)

Meet and greet members of each of the 4 historically Black Greek letter organizations at FIU. Given the events of the inauguration and the constant mention of the Divine Nine, this event will help put the spotlight on black sororities and fraternities at FIU. The event will focus more on the history, importance and benefits of being a part of a Fraternity and Sorority. Don’t miss out on a chance to meet faculty, staff and alumni from FIU chapters.
