Leonardo Castaneda, FIU faculty at the Department of Art+ Art History, has received a WaveMaker grant

WaveMaker Grants are part of the Andy Warhol Foundation of Visual Arts Regional Re-Granting Program, and was the first in the southeast founded under the former Cannonball non-profit. Since 2015, WaveMaker has awarded more than forty grants to creatives across Miami-Dade County through a juried process supporting projects that are non-commercial, non-institutional, stimulate critical thinking and dialogue, and expose audiences to innovative artistic practices typically under- recognized by traditional venues.
