Job Summary:
Your internship search stops here. In this unique opportunity, you will intern with our Creative Services team to learn all aspects of content creation for a premium lifestyle brand. You will also learn how to art direct a photoshoot and get a first-hand look at how a team of creative talent is managed. You will also have the chance to assist your manager and team in the production of photoshoots.
In addition, you will support your manager and team on a variety of exciting projects that include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-production, scheduling photo shoots, budgeting expenses, seeking permissions.
- Writing call sheets and shoot sheets, booking talent, securing locations, liaising with free-lance teams, and working cross-functionally with Benjamin Moore departments.
- You will also have the chance to help the team with production work that includes assisting the photo team on the day(s) of the photoshoot, handling catering requests, prop maintenance, color collection and caption writing.
- You will support the team with post-production work that includes securing all film, name files, collecting relevant meta data, editing images, creating new asset files and maintaining them with each additional shoot.
- In addition, you will assist in regular status updates with the digital team.
- The anticipated results are an increased number of digital assets being produced and processed in less time, keeping up with the ever-increasing demand for content.
- A better outward facing digital presence with more contemporary and fresh content to present to our customers.
Required Skills:
- The intern can be a college student currently studying Graphic Design and/or Photography with a view to establish a career in the commercial creative field.
- Lifestyle/interior design studies is a plus.
- Ability to design using InDesign, and knowledge of Photoshop.
- Ability to express/write well and articulate visuals.
