Assistant Interior Designer | Motivo Home Design

Job Description: FULL TIME or PART TIME (depending on Candidate)

Compensation – Salary depends on candidate experience. Minimum starting base $15/hour. Possibility of bonus and commissions.

To assist Principle Designer in delivery of project to clients.

Main Duties:

-Draw up Interior Designer’s plans in CAD

-Research and source high quality products; including furnishings, lighting, furniture, art and accessories to designer’s brief.

-Obtain and organize product samples

-Place and confirm orders with suppliers and oversee supplier production, quality and coordinate delivered slots.

-Help manage and communicate with suppliers and contractors.

-Receive deliveries on site and assist in their placement and installation to plan.

-Take and produce minutes of client’s meetings.

-Action upon Interior Designer’s instructions and keep them informed on progress

-Prepare and maintain project schedules and programs.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

-Proficient in CAD

-Excellent organizational skills

-Good communicator, confident dealing with a wide range of clients

-Can read drawings and take measurements.

-Attention to detail
