Full Job Description

CC Homes seeks a dynamic candidate who is highly organized and has excellent presentation skills who can assist in running the design center. The Design Coordinator will work with new homebuyers in selecting options for their new home. They will be responsible for creating a positive, welcoming, and innovative experience for the homebuyers. They will schedule option meetings to review all of the available upgrades including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, lighting, appliances, etc. 

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

·        Assess homebuyer(s) needs, preferences, and expectations regarding their lifestyle and specific products for their new home

·        Scheduling and confirming meetings

·        Emailing buyers forms and brochure prior to their selections meeting

·        Keeping track of deposit due dates and notifying buyers if date agree upon is missed

·        Responsible for assisting buyers in the selection of all standard and upgrade options

·        Advise homebuyer(s) on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and color coordination

·        Assess homebuyer(s) needs, preferences, and expectations regarding their lifestyle and specific products for their new home

·        Keeping track of deposit due dates and notifying buyers if date agree upon is missed

·        Ensure that homebuyer(s) is aware of all options available for product upgrades

·        Provide complete product information detailing performance, durability, and maintenance of homebuyer(s) selections

·        Estimate material requirements and costs

·        Accurately record product selections using established department procedures, systems, and practices

·        Assists in resolving homebuyer(s) problems and/or concerns

·        Supports all design center and homebuilder processes

·        Will be working closely with Sales Team to provide previews & pricing

·        Work with Director of Purchasing to price options and put together excel sheets with buyer pricing

·        Learn and is knowledgeable about all products in the showroom

·        Learn and is knowledgeable about all communities by builder

·        Assist with material approvals coordination between homebuyers, reps, and subcontractors

·        Adhere to and manage builder time frames for lot file submission

·        Conduct appointments as necessary

·        Performs other duties as assigned

·        Provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel.

·        Highly Organized & Self Directed (Required)

·        Read & Understand Architectural/Structural/Electrical Plans (Required)

·        Microsoft Excel & Work (Required)

  • English & Spanish (Required)
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
  • Construction: 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Interior Design: 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Sales: 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Architecture: 1+ year (Preferred)
