Full-time or Part Time, 1-2 years experience Interior Architect/Designer. Strong candidates would be graduates from an accredited Interior Architecture/Design Degree program.

-Interior architecture tasks under the supervision of a Licensed Architect 

-Space planning, materials selection and early stage conceptual work: mood boards, sketching, diagramming, analysis, etc.

-General CAD drafting, BIM and 3D modeling

-Attend, organize and participate in meetings with vendors, builders and clients

-Conduct work related research

-Perform construction administration tasks: e.g., site visits, surveys, field reports

-Produce presentations using Adobe software

-Salary commensurate with the skill sets you bring to the team

  • Team members get a laptop and an iPad to work from home. Working from home is available to all employees. Permission is granted on a weekly basis dependent on deadlines and the need to coordinate within the team. 
  • The studio’s interior architect/designer, pending firm’s financial performance, attends Neocon in Chicago each year. Two nights and three days to stay abreast of industry trends. The office pays for the flight and provides an allowance for AirBnB/hotel accommodations.
  • Flexible work time: The office requires 8 hours of work each day. What time you start your day is up to you as long as you effectively communicate your intentions with the team. Days or weeks when we have deadlines, meetings or your physical presence is required in order to coordinate deliverables are special cases that need permission from the Principal in advance. In practice, office hours begin between 10am and 11am but everyone needs to be available by mobile phone starting at 9am.
  • The office will pay for NCIDQ exams that are successfully passed. Once you become licensed as an interior designer, the office will pay 50% of your annual professional membership to IIDA.
