$52,000 – $62,000 DOE. This is an in-office position (not remote) based in our Fort Lauderdale HQ. 

Play a key role on our Pre-Sales project team in a fast-paced design environment with heavy use of technology. Are you highly organized, detail oriented, a fast learner and accustomed to working under deadlines?

Partners with Sales team on all pre-sales activities for hospitality interior projects focused on decorative fabrics and window treatments.   Maintains excellent communication and flow of information between customers, Account Managers, and Product Sourcing Teams.  

The day-to-day:

  • Responsible for the full life-cycle of all presales functions utilizing Salesforce and other technologies to record project details.
  • Receives project information from the Sales Account Managers and reviews all potential items for the sale and begins to document the project opportunity.
  • Prepares case samples of fabrics from our internal design library.
  • Collaborates with Product Sourcing, Textile Design and Print Teams on new sample development.
  • Prepares and sends samples to Account Managers and to customers.
  • Builds and manages sales opportunities in SalesForce CRM.
  • Sets up project folders, following appropriate process and procedures.
  • Handles relationships with external customers including follow up with Customers and Account Managers regarding projects.
  • Prepares product displays including; binders, sales presentations, cutting & tagging, prepared samples from custom request and off-shelf, etc.
  • Reviews costs, margins and completes quotes.
  • Ensures upkeep of the sample room, including daily organizing.
  • Attends vendor and mill presentations for review of new fabrics and products.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two or more years related project experience working with fast-paced interior FF&E projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Learning / retaining heavy amount of detailed processes is a must.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • Knowledge of D365 and SaleForce is a plus. CRM experience.
  • Strong customer service skills including ability to manage shifting priorities while remaining calm and organized.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills and multi-tasking with speed and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and able to shift priorities to support the needs of customers and Sales team.
  • Independent and able to manage responsibilities without direct supervision.  
  • Experience with quoting, reviewing margins and cost analysis.
  • Experience working in cross functional team.
