Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) Internship – Summer 2023

Are you a student looking to gain hands-on professional experience in commercial architecture and interior design? Would you like to gain that experience through a robust summer internship program?
We at Juniper Networks REWS are seeking students who are interested in applying for the 2023 summer internship opportunity. Candidates must be in enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in either Architecture or Interior Design.
We’re looking for people who are excited about envisioning and designing exciting workplace environment that can help our Junivators do their best.
Under the supervision of our workplace design manager (architect) you will be able to
- Participate in programming and schematic design phases that are conducted in-house
- Product hand sketches, 2D-3D plans for design studies and presentations
- Help update Global Workplace Design Guidelines
- Collaborate with our in-house project management team, facilities operations team and external design and construction consultants
- Field-verify site conditions and update as-built drawings and models
- And if applicable and allowed, earn NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) AXP credits!
Qualities of a successful candidate include:
- Basic – intermediate proficiency in following software
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Sketchup (w/ 3D rendering plug-ins)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Keynote (Mac) and/or PowerPoint PC)
- Good hand sketch skill
- Strong communication skills
- Great Teamwork skill
- Enthusiasm!

Minimum Salary: $61,875.00
Maximum Salary:$94,875.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $61,875.00 and $94,875.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations.
Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
