This internship is designed for current undergraduate or graduate students seeking a career in graphic design and will provide a well-rounded knowledge of the real estate business and how to combine your design talent with valuable marketing and branding skills. The internship will accelerate your learning and development and provide you with the opportunity to build your marketing/design portfolio and a case study building an innovative new brand.
The right candidate will serves as in-house agency support for our team, partnering with the team lead, an award-winning NYC Marketing Strategy Director turned luxury Real Estate Agent, to help bring their unique brand strategy to life through elevated design, combined with compelling photography, copy and video content. Obsessed with all things social media and the desire to know and embrace the latest trends before they happen. Creating fresh, never been done creative concepts and executing with simplicity and style.
- A design professional with job or internship experience, in an agency setting or with a brand, where you managed online and offline projects with ease
- Passionate about all aspects of design including conceptual thinking, typography, photography, copy, and imagery
- Upgrade branding and marketing material design to ensure consistent, luxury design, and culturally relevant, on-brand content creation.
- Borrowing from adjacent industries (architecture, interior design, hospitality, travel) to elevate the brand
- Leverage photography/video skills, combined with design and editing expertise to create a real estate/lifestyle photo library for use in marketing and brand materials.
- Lead digital and social media strategy (Instagram/Facebook) and content calendar.
- Leveraging photography, video, content, music, organic and paid content design and community engagement to grow following, engagement and other social KPI’s
- Develop and design listing presentations, buyer and seller guides, marketing pieces and advertising, property and sales materials.
- Create new, fresh, simple visual content to help us drive growth through compelling storytelling of our brand and value proposition.
Qualifications:
Luxury marketing design skills and social media management experience
Advanced photography and editing skills combined with clever copywriting
Adobe Creative Cloud platforms (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.)
Curious about new technology and tools, suggesting new, faster, smarter tools and ideas
Facebook/Instagram marketing success
Social Media Management Software (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, HubSpot, Planoly, etc)
Must be scrappy and able to work in a start-up environment
Extreme attention to detail
Bonus points for luxury branding experience and formal design education or degree
