Esperanza Muiño is an adjunct professor in the Interior Architecture Design Department at Florida International University. She studied at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas-Venezuela, where she spent 6 years at the school of Architecture and Planning and holds a Masters in Interior Architecture from Florida International University. She started her practice as an architect before graduation from the Design Department. Her practice had included collaborations on housing and private residences, small galleries, schools, and some planning and environmental projects. During her college years in 1990, with the help of a group of students, she founded “Entre Rayas” a magazine dedicated to architecture, planning, and interior design, which is currently over 25 years old.
