Position Overview:
You will enjoy a 12-18 month rotation program where you will experience all avenues of the partner sales lifecycle. In the Strategic Business Development Program, you will operate both independently and as a collaborator with the partner development team, engaging in all aspects of the partner development lifecycle. You will rotate through the functional areas experiencing marketing, enablement, geo management and other specialty areas. This role spans identifying and proposing new partnerships, developing models to support the proposed partner engagement, and carries through to enablement and execution of established partner plans and programs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Understand our technology and how to position Citrix with partners to drive incremental revenue.
- Market and ecosystem research – utilizing various data sources from existing and new media, analyst, customer and ecosystem research develop to prioritized pipeline of potential partners aligned with Citrix’s business strategy.
- Business opportunity and impact modelling – as directed and in collaboration with peers, product, sales and other cross functional teams develop preliminary business cases, including solution/offering concepts, prospective go-to-market models and perform impact analysis to support securing internal stakeholder approvals for partner development investment.
- Learn to create and manage all types of channel programs and systems to drive revenue for the business.
- Partner development – working with senior partner managers and independently, engage cross functionally both internal to Citrix and externally with partners to generate revenue.
- Develop in collaboration with others our marketing and enablement functions to support our partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business degree with specialty in marketing, sales or operations.
- Industry interest and awareness of business applications and technology.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher, prior internship experience, and leadership experience preferred.
- Accountable and quality results oriented.
- Possesses financial acumen; with ability to build realistic plans and models
- Effective communicator in both written and oral situations, with ability to communicate complex topics more simply without losing meaning.
- Strong EQ skills: upbeat, positive, transparent, and engaging with a natural skill for developing professional relationships. Promotes and encourages teamwork. Thinks and acts “win-win” when relating to others and demonstrates effectiveness in aligning and orchestrating interests to achieve results. Operates with integrity and credibility.
