Welcomed through the Citi Foundation Museum Management Internship program, the Marketing Intern will work collaboratively across key administrative departments to learn about best practices in Marketing for the Museum field while performing project-based tasks and participating in daily business operations. Reporting to the Markerting Department Leaders and the Internship Coordinator, the goal of the program is to introduce bright new talents to multiple career paths within the non-profit world. For that purpose, the Marketing Intern will be introduced to two distinct roles within the department: Digital Marketing and Public Relations. In addition to marketing coursework or experience, applicants should have an interest in the non-profit world and arts administration.

Once a month, interns will take networking field trips to neighboring cultural organizations to hear from their administrators about various institutions’ practices and differentiating factors. They will also have the opportunity to network with PAMM employees and learn about career paths through brown bag lunch meetings.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) Internship will provide an active training ground for participants to gain new skills and knowledge of arts administration to apply to future employment in museums and cultural institutions.

This is a paid internship opportunity gracefully supported by Citi Foundation.

*Note that the internship will start remotely for employees’ safety but may move to a hybrid format (some remote work, some site work). Candidate must be available for both scenarios.
