Position Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Partner Development Representative (as part of an internship) who will work hand-in-hand with our sales/marketing team. This is a dynamic, multifaceted, and challenging role that lives across sales and marketing support. You will serve as a foundational intern on our sales/marketing and operations teams, working alongside our CEO, CMO, and Head of Partnerships. As we continue our high-growth trajectory, you will be a pivotal member in driving the momentum and velocity behind our partnership + student usage growth — excited yet?!

What You’ll Do:

  • Chart and execute strategic plans for business development and student success through the entirety of our total addressable market
  • Prospect and contact education administrators (higher education)
  • Arrange demos/sales meetings for our Partnerships Team
  • Stay organized by tracking activity in our internal CRM
  • Meet and exceed your monthly set quota
  • Utilize our sales playbook and tools such as email automation software to drive sales and marketing velocity
  • Cold call follow-ups to assigned leads
  • Learn all the skills necessary to be promoted to a closing role 
  • Build, manage and strengthen relationships with potential partners

What We’re Looking For

  • A human ‘Swiss Army Knife’ who’s willing to dive in wherever support may be needed across our business development, marketing, and user support efforts
  • Some experience or strong interest in working in SaaS (tech) or educational services sales
  • Proven initiative and a competitive drive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
  • Excitement to improve student success in education
  • Desire to work in a diverse, highly-collaborative, dynamic team environment
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial style, eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • An interest in building or accelerating your sales and operations career potential. We promote from within!

  • Participation in sales clubs, competitions, and/or prior sales experience in technology/education
  • Experience in selling, designing, and/or implementing higher education software and/or specifically tutoring services
  • Located in/near the Tampa Bay area
